Meet the Characters:
War is the true measure of a loyal soldier to his Satan Pride brothers. Alone in the world, fighting to live, when a group of men took him into the fold and taught him what family means. He has his Club, his brothers, and his choice of women and yet the world is turned on its axis when he sees Maddie for the first time. War learns that compassion and strength comes in many forms through his relationship with Maddie.
Maddie is recovering from a tragic nightmare. She takes one step forward and retreats quickly when she feels threatened. One man makes her feel completely safe, War. She doesn’t understand how or why, however, she knows that with him she feels normal again. Every day they spend together is a building of trust. Freedom to be the woman she is meant to be is within reach.
